We recommend the Mezzelune allo Speck e Zucchine (pasta with smoked ham and courgettes), Tagliatelle with mushrooms, beef fillet with green pepper and swordfish with olives and potatoes. Do not miss the specialty of the house: the Tartufo Nero ice-cream. Created by the founder of the Ciampini family in 1946, the Tartufo Nero is still made according to the original recipe.

The ambience is refined and elegant, characterized by the romantic background of the square, and has a comfortable and relaxing interior, although you absolutely must have your meal sitting at the outdoor tables that are provided with heating in winter.

Since 1914, the restaurant has been offering a cleverly revised version of typical Italian and local cuisine. The menu includes typical local dishes like Pasta all’Amatriciana, Carbonara and Gnocchi. All made with fresh ingredients, obviously.

We recommend the Gran Tagliere Cybo for starters, then Fettuccine ai Carciofi e Sfrizzioli di Guanciale (pasta with artichokes and lard), Carbonara Tartufata (carbonara with truffle), Filetto di Salmone con salsa all’Arancio e Spinaci (salmon fillet with orange and spinach sauce).
